Ironman ellipticals are not as well known as other elliptical brands but they are climbing up on the latter by recently coming out and producing newer models. These models include the Achiever and the CDT elliptical. People are taking a liking to these newer models and it is giving Ironman a good reputation in the elliptical machine department. The newer versions are well advanced compared to Ironman’s older versions of the elliptical machine.

Ironman offers a variety of machines; the newer ones are a little more advanced. The Achiever and CDT ellipticals both have a twenty-one inch stride versus the common eighteen-inch, which most ellipticals offer. This gives a better workout and there is more room, this can be helpful for people with longer legs. They also have center drive technology. Center drive technology is, where the machine has two smaller flywheels on both sides of it instead of one large wheel in the front. This feature helps a person working out to have proper posture and the machine to be steadier. This also creates a smaller footprint if a person is short on space and needs more room.

Experts have given Ironman ellipticals a decent rating for their price, especially for people on a budget. People who have used Ironman elliptical machines have rated it pretty high, they have an average rating of about four out of five stars. People seem to be enjoying the newer versions of the machine much more than the older versions. They say that it runs smoothly compared to the older versions and they get better workouts due to the longer strides and the new center drive technology.

Most of Ironman’s older versions have fourteen to sixteen inch strides. Those size strides can be extremely uncomfortable to some people. They are also fairly small compared to a lot of other elliptical machines on the market. Ironman also offers shorter period warranties than most of its competitors. This turns people away due to the fact there is a chance to the machine breaking down after the warranty has expired.

The newer models elliptical machines from Ironman show a lot of promise. They may not be as fancy as some of the competitors but the longer stride and the center drive technology make them worth to cost. They have received good reviews for their price range. They are the complete opposite of the older models, which many found uncomfortable and did not get a good workout from. The only fact that is yet known about the newer models is if they will last for long periods of time. Since the newer models have recently hit the market it is hard to determine this fact.
