Some of Nordic’s newer model Elliptical machines such as the NordicTrack CXT950 Elliptical have a feature called “Reflex Step Technology.” This gets rid of all the dead spots in the technology and produces a smoother stride. Many of Nordic’s Elliptical machines have cooling fans attached to them. This fan is powered by the energy that a person produces while working out. This means that the harder the workout the higher the fan will blow. This was a great idea, and it helps people enjoy their workout more.
Nordic has several models out there on the market some of the more popular ones are, NordicTrack Spacesaver Elliptical, NordicTrack CX 938, NordicTrack CX 1055, and the Audiostrider 990. These machines run from 700 hundred dollars to around one thousand dollars.
The NordicTrack Spacesaver Elliptical folds up to give a person more space in their home. That is why they call it “Spacesaver.” It only saves about two feet of space but a person in a tight apartment or a cluttered house may need that extra room. A person can just fold up the machine after they are finished with their workout. The Nordic TrackCX 938 has a large range of electronic features and programs to choose from. This is one of the more popular purchased brands. This model also has Silent Magnetic Resistance. This keeps the machine quiet while being used and helps it to run smoothly. Both of these models usually cost about eight hundred dollars. The NordicTrack CX 1055 is one of the best quality machines form Nordic. This machine has a lot of features such as, a heart rate monitor; I fit compatibility, nineteen programs, and progress tracking. It also has a feature called the “NordicTrack Side Thru” which aims to provide the user with a feel for a more natural walking or running motion. This will give the user a smoother more comfortable workout. This machine also allows the user to change the incline and resistance of the ramp. This machine usually is prices around one thousand dollars. The AudioStrider 990, has all of the features listed above except for the a built in plug for a person to plug in their I pod or MP3 player. It has a built in sound system that will play the music form these devices.
Nordic warranties are all for one year labor and parts. The machines will usually last for a pretty long time. Most people do not even get the chance to use the warranty. Nordic receives good reviews from its users. Some people have complained about the machines being a little wobbly but for the most part they are worth the price people pay for them.
